01The brief
The insight
Color without lighting, like the FA12.
The hard call
A single sheath that made cables read as tubes was too hard and too expensive, so we simplified.
02What I did
What I made
- Color-matched connectors
- Silicone insulation that never creases
- HYTE’s most successful colors
03In my words
Same concept as the FA12 fans: color without lighting. I explored hiding all the cables inside a single sheath so they'd look like tubes matching the liquid cooler, not like cables. It turned out to be so difficult and expensive that we settled on something simpler: our most successful colors, silicone insulation that stays flexible without creasing, and color-matched connectors. The result is a very affordable, functional way to add color and personality to a build.
