I am writing in recommendation of Rob Teller for his stellar work in product development, consumer advocacy, and media relations. As Editor-in-Chief of GamersNexus, a media outlet which reaches ~3 million viewers per month, I have been working with Rob for about 8 years now.
At his previous roles with PC case manufacturers and liquid cooling manufacturers, I have been able to personally see Rob’s impact at a product level. He specializes in innovating on features that have remained stagnant for years, and catches and improves small details in products prior to launch. Rob had a direct hand in shaping the modern industry for PC cases during his time at NZXT, and his impact can be seen in competitor products even today – years later. These features have also been well-received by our audience, the consumers of the product, as Rob keeps an enthusiast spirit that allows consumer advocacy often lost in others in the industry.
From a media relations standpoint, Rob has been our primary contact in a few instances, and has been our go-to when we need more technical details. If he cannot answer a question directly, Rob is able to get answers for us quickly, and then adds his own knowledge to improve the quality of information. This has permitted us the welcomed ability to expand our depth of coverage of new products, and means that we’re able to better detail why manufacturers have made certain choices in product development. The result is both more informed media and, therefore, more informed consumers, building a stronger understanding as to why a particular product is deserving of consumer purchases.
Rob is fast and detailed in communication, has an eye for product development that puts competitors on their back foot with new innovations, and is well-equipped to keep consumers and end objectives in mind.
